ouch

I hurt myself. And I wasn't doing anything. I was sitting down for cryin' out loud. I got up, my sock snagged on something and I fell back landing awkardly on the arm chair. Almost toppled over and onto the floor. Now my bum's bruised. Unbelievable.

1st test

This is my first attempt. Not quite fnished with it yet. Not quite satisfied with it either. But it was basically done for fun and to get back into art, which is becoming a lot more enjoyable and satisfying to me now.

There will be 3 more pieces, it's just a twist on the Dr.Seuss's book 'One fish, Two Fish, Three Fish, Blue fish".
When I finished the set, I plan to send it to my family's shore house. Something to decorate in the kids' loft.

Workin'

I got Photoshop. Do they make Photoshop for Dummies? Progress has been slow, and I'm not the most patient person when things don't go right the 5th or 6th time.
I tried putting together a bookcase once.One of those cheap , build-it-yourself Ikea type of furniture. I tried, but it was a really hot day. Remember the scene in Goodfellas where Bobby & Joe Pesci beat the crap outta some poor slob? Bobby practically stomping him to death. That's what I did to my bookcase.


Anywaaaay, I got 4 pieces to work on that I hope to be finished by Christmas. I'm still on the first.
