quick sketch : Misfit Toys Uprising
Just thought I post this doodle sketch. I was thinking about some emails that went around last year among the ol' gang, where the subject of the toys and the elves going against Santa was discussed in great detail. Santa came off as a complete jerk in the Rudolph special.
I think Guy and myself went a little further, suggesting that the elves have some sort of revolution. I can't remember all of it but it made me laugh as I was holiday shopping today. Plus I think it would be a great addition to the Raging Rudolph film that Mad Tv had a few years ago .
So this is Charlie in the Box in mid-speech. Just before he storms King Moonraker--I mean King Moonracer's castle.

That was the one thing that always blew me away about the Rankin-Bass Rudolph...Santa really was a complete d*ck. I always wondered why the Lion King didn't just fly over to Christmas Town and kick his a**.
